Conditions of Entry at Dickson Pool

To ensure a pleasant and secure environment for all our members and guests, please take a moment to review our venue conditions of entry.

Our Venue

  1. Inappropriate, foul language and aggressive behaviour are not permitted.
  2. Please respect the rights of others and our staff.
  3. Facility operators reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.
  4. Medical Conditions: If you have any disease, illness, injury, or medical condition, it is recommended you speak with your GP or staff prior to using our facilities.
  5. Waiver and Release of Liability: Please acknowledge that when you are on the premises, both your property and person shall be at your own risk and shall not hold the centre or its employees liable for any personal injury or loss of property which may arise from any cause.
  6. No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes
  7. No use of glass at the venue
  8. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted inside the venue, all eskys will be checked by staff members

Aquatic Areas

  1. Lifeguards supervise our aquatic areas, however active parental supervision must be followed.
  2. In an emergency please follow lifeguard instructions.
  3. Children aged 5 years and under need to be supervised within arms reach from in the pools at all times.
  4. Children aged 6 to 12 years need to be actively supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  5. A maximum of 2 children under 5 years old or 4 children under 10 years old can be supervised by each parent/guardian over the age of 18 years.
  6. For children aged 13 to 14 years old, parents should maintain visual contact at all times
  7. Suitable swimwear must be worn. Articles of clothing such as street-wear, underwear, denim, bike pants and casual wear are strictly prohibited in the water.
    Only recognised waterproof aqua-nappies are to be worn in the water for infants.
  8. Glass objects or alcohol are not permitted.
  9. Please adhere to the safety signage around the pool area.
  10. Cameras and mobile phones are not to be used for photos or videos unless authorised by Centre Management.
  11. All children not yet 4 years old must wear a swim nappy.
  12. All patrons must follow the Keep Watch Policy.
